But it is getting harder and harder to do in this fast paced, blinged-out, go-go-go world. And that is where our Gatlinburg Mountain House Inn comes in. Our Inn does not recreate the vacation destination Gatlinburg used to represent; no, it continues the tradition.
Built in 1982, our 57-room Mountain House Inn comes with a family history and ties to Gatlinburg going back almost 100 years. Our family-owned American business is driven to give each guest the same great mountain vacation experience as our grandfather Andrew Huff did when he built the very first hotel in Gatlinburg in 1916. This is why we are the perfect choice for family vacations, reunions, weddings, and group gatherings.

“This was our first stay at Mountain House Motor Inn. It is located off the main strip, but very convenient to the Parkway & the Village. Room was very clean (non-smoking) & met our needs. Easy check-in/check-out. Beds were firm (which we like), plenty of pillows & fridge. Everything we needed for a pleasant stay at a reasonable price.” ~ December 2017
